USC’s Troy Polamalu and Charles Ane Jr. are named to Polynesian Football Hall of Fame

Former USC football players Troy Polamalu and Charles Ane Jr. have been named to the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Polamalu in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft and he played 12 seasons for the organization.
Polamalu was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time Super Bowl Champion. He was named an All-American at USC in 2002.
Ane, who died in 2007, played six seasons for the Detroit Lions from 1953 to 1959 and was a two-time Pro Bowl Selection.
He was an All-American offensive lineman at USC.
The other three members of the 2016 class are Rockne Crewningburg Freitas, Vai Sikahema and Albert Lolotai.
Former USC linebacker Lofa Tatupu and USC tight ends coach Marques Tuiasosopo, a former quarterback at Washington and with the Oakland Raiders, were among the 25 finalists.
