Made seven interceptions and had one fumble recovery for team that won eighth consecutive state title.

Stephen Carr; RB; 6-0; 210; Fontana Summit HS

Ran for 31 touchdowns and 2,123 yards, averaging 9.1 yards per carry. Also had 20 catches, five for touchdowns.

Hunter Echols; LB/DL; 6-5; 240; Los Angeles Cathedral HS

Made 79 tackles — 27 for losses — including nine sacks. Also made one interception, returned for a touchdown.

Juliano Falaniko; LB; 6-4; 220; Pago Pago A.S. Leon HS

The first USC football player out of an American Samoa high school since Travis Tofi in 2002. Also played receiver.

Josh Falo; TE; 6-6; 235; Sacramento Inderkum HS

Caught 21 passes for 410 yards and eight touchdowns. Also completed two passes — both for touchdowns.

Je’Quari Godfrey; CB; 6-2; 185; Oakland Bishop O’Dowd HS

Longtime Cal commit made three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. As a receiver, had four catches for 41-yard average.

Randal Grimes; WR; 6-4; 205; Las Vegas Desert Pines HS

Used mainly as a quarterback, he passed for 1,003 yards and nine touchdowns. Also played receiver and free safety.

Austin Jackson; OL; 6-6; 290; Phoenix North Canyon HS

Played tackle on offense and end on defense. His grandfather, Melvin Jackson, played on USC’s 1974 national championship team.

Damon Johnson; LS; 6-0; 205; Citrus College

Did not play football last season. Performed long-snapping duties for Glendora High in 2015.

Greg Johnson; ATH; 5-11; 195; Los Angeles Hawkins HS

The City Section’s Division II player of the year. On defense made five interceptions. On offense, accounted for 1,681 yards rushing and receiving.

Levi Jones; LB; 6-3; 220; Austin (Texas) Westlake HS

Made 103 tackles, including four sacks. Also deflected four passes and forced two fumbles. His father, Robert, played 10 years in the NFL.

**Tayler Katoa; LB; 6-2; 220; Layton (Utah) HS

Made 36 tackles, including two sacks, and had a fumble recovery. Also ran for 14 touchdowns and passed for three as quarterback.

Erik Krommenhoek; TE; 6-5; 245; Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista HS

Son of UCLA-educated parents had 26 catches for 447 yards and seven touchdowns. Also played defensive end.

Joseph Lewis IV; WR; 6-2; 205; Los Angeles Hawkins HS

Made 21 catches for seven touchdowns and a 26.4-yards average. Also made 61 tackles and returned six punts for an average of 29.8 yards.

Jacob Lichtenstein; DL; 6-5; 255; Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay HS

Has a relatively modest skill set but is smart and has a frame that could hold considerably more weight.

Brett Neilon; OL; 6-2; 295; Santa Margarita HS

Los Angeles Times All-Star also played basketball. His father and brother attended USC and two aunts played golf for the Trojans.

Brandon Pili; DL; 6-4; 320; Portland (Ore.) Westview HS

Played his first three high school seasons at Dimond HS in Anchorage, Alaska, where he was also on track and wrestling teams.

Isaiah Pola-Mao; S; 6-4; 200; Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe HS

Nephew of former USC All-American and Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu made eight interceptions, returning three for touchdowns.

**Jack Sears; QB; 6-3; 195; San Clemente HS

Will try to repeat what he did at San Clemente, where he followed Sam Darnold as quarterback. Passed for 2,602 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Jay Tufele; DL; 6-3; 295; Salt Lake City Bingham HS

Did not play as a senior because of a torn ligament in his foot. As a junior, he had 10.5 sacks.

**Marlon Tuipulotu; DL; 6-3; 295; Independence (Ore.) Central HS

Made 62 tackles — 14 for losses, including six sacks. Also made four fumble recoveries and blocked a field-goal try.

Alijah Vera-Tucker; OL; 6-4; 300; Oakland Bishop O’Dowd HS

All-state tackle on offense played some defensive end and also blocked a punt for team that won state 5-AA title.

**Andrew Vorhees; OL; 6-6; 290; Kingsburg (Calif.) HS

Two-way tackle made 32 tackles, including four sacks and also had a fumble recovery.

Note: Jalen McKenzie, a 6-5, 305-pound offensive lineman from Concord Clayton High, announced over Twitter that he was signing with USC. He is a “blueshirt,” meaning his scholarship will count against the program’s 2018 total. He is the son of Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie.
