Golden State star Stephen Curry had quite a night on Thursday. Several members of his family did, too. Unfortunately for them, most of the events are ones they’d probably rather forget.

Some of the problems included Curry’s first-ever ejection from an NBA game and a near-arrest for his father-in-law in a case of mistaken identity. And, of course, a 115-101 loss to Cleveland to force a Game 7 in the NBA Finals.

Where to begin? With the Twitter feed of his wife, Ayesha Curry, naturally. On it, she pretty much provided a play-by-play of all the evening’s happenings.

First, it seems she and other Warriors family members had a heck of a time getting into Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena for the game. She implied that the Cavaliers had something to do with the delay.

Curry had a solid game on the court, but the Warriors were never really in it. They trailed, 31-11, at the end of the first quarter and didn’t get any closer than seven points from the Cavaliers.

Near the end of the game, Curry threw his mouthpiece in frustration after picking up his sixth foul. The mouthpiece struck a fan, and Curry was ejected from the game. (On Friday, Curry was fined $25,000 for the action.)

We’ll let Ayesha Curry’s Twitter feed pick up the story from here. “I've lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money... Or ratings [I'm] not sure which. I won't be silent . Just saw it live sry,” she wrote in a tweet that was later deleted.

Ayesha Curry then revealed another reason why she may have seemed a bit on edge that night.

According to ESPN, an NBA official said arena security checked the credentials of her father because they thought he looked like a con man known for sneaking into major sporting events.

Curry was told about the incident after the game, and he related the story to ESPN.

"I was just kind of debriefed on what the security thought happened with some guy that poses with fake credentials and gets backstage at a lot of events, the NBA Finals and all that stuff," Curry said. "They kind of profiled my father-in-law and thought he was him. They threatened to arrest him before they checked out his credentials. It's kind of been an emotional and tough night all the way around.”

Curry also addressed his wife’s outspoken nature when it comes to social media.

"When it comes to Twitter and all that, everybody says stuff where you get caught in the moment," he said. "After a while, you kind of stand and calm down. Things might not be as you thought. ... I don't fault her from showing some emotion on Twitter."
