Watch Jerry West shoot -- he can’t miss even when he tries
Age apparently does not affect clutchness.
Jerry West, nicknamed “Mr. Clutch,” recently proved that at age 75 he still can’t miss, even when he tries.
During a demonstration to schoolchildren on how to shoot, the former 14-time NBA All-star put up a couple of shots. He showed everyone how to shoot properly. Then he cocked his arm to the side to show everyone how to not shoot.
Every single shot he put up, he made.
He eventually tells his audience that he hasn’t shot a basketball in years. Everyone laughs at the absurdity of that.
“I’m going to tell you, when you learn how to do it, you won’t ever forget it,” he says.
