Panthers owner to pay for entire staff to attend Super Bowl 50

The Carolina Panthers are headed to Santa Clara to play the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. All of them.
Carolina owner Jerry Richardson has agreed to pay for all of the Panthers’ staff, even the lowly interns, to attend the big game, according to FOXSports.com’s Alex Marvez.
“Mr. Richardson understands that this memorable season would not have been possible without harmony and a complete team effort,” Carolina President Danny Morrison said in a statement according to the Charlotte Observer. “This is not unprecedented as he also provided an opportunity for the Panthers staff to travel to the 2004 Super Bowl in Houston, Texas. It’s an incredibly gracious gift.”

That’s right, this isn’t even the first time Richardson has taken this route with his employees, though the Panthers lost Super Bowl XXXVIII to the New England Patriots, 32-29.
The Panthers went 15-1 during the regular season, including a league-best 8-0 record at home.
Maybe this way Santa Clara will feel a bit more like home for the Feb. 7 game, even though it is thousands of miles away. At the very least this has to be good karma.
