NFL games are the 12 most-watched programs in new TV season

The 10 most-watched programs of the new television season have been NFL games.

Actually, it’s not just the top 10, Nos. 11 and 12 were also NFL games.

The CBS broadcast of the Denver Broncos against the Dallas Cowboys was the most-watched program of the most recent week, according to CBS. It beat both entertainment shows and the MLB playoffs.

The Broncos-Cowboys game was the No. 1 program for the week of Sept. 30 to Oct. 6 in the Los Angeles market. NFL games were No. 1 in 27 NFL markets for the week and No. 1 in 15 of 26 non-NFL markets.

For the season NFL games rank as the 12 most-watched programs since Labor Day and include the five most-watched shows in prime time.

The season premiere of the CBS show “The Big Bang Theory” ranked 13th and the premiere of the long-running crime show “NCIS” on CBS was 14th.
