Dionisia Pacquiao, Manny’s mom, was, um, intense during fight [Video]

Dionisia Pacquiao was one of millions of people watching her son, boxer Manny Pacquiao, take on Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight belt on Saturday night.

But she is the only one of those people who can claim to be the mother of the winning fighter. So she can be excused if she was rather, um, intense during the bout.

Hear that, social media users? She can be excused. No more of this talk of hexes and voodoo -- I’m pretty sure that’s not what people who bring rosaries to boxing matches actually do.

Sure, she was doing a lot of pointing and gesturing with a look on her face that I’m going to be seeing in my nightmares for weeks to come.

But give the poor woman a break. She was just supporting her son in her own special way. Nothing wrong with that -- just ask Aly Raisman’s parents.

Plus, she did give Bradley a nice hug in the ring after the match.

And it’s not like she’s ever done anything really embarrassing on TV, like, I don’t know, sing Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”

Oh, wait a minute ... never mind.
