Dez Bryant was booed by Dallas Cowboys fans at training camp on Sunday.

That’s the same Dez Bryant who caused a huge scare among the Cowboys fanbase by threatening not to show up for camp before he got his recent five-year, $70-million contract from the team.

But it’s also the same Dez Bryant who has a history of lashing out at teammates and coaches. And on just the second day of practice with pads, he was at it again.

The two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver took on second-year cornerback Tyler Patmon, who had been covering Bryant during 11-on-11 work late in practice. The skirmish started on the field, with Bryant losing his helmet during a play then ripping Patmon’s off.

Bryant took a swing at Patmon, who did the same then tried to back away. But Bryant wasn’t finished, taking another swing at his teammate on the field and going after him again on the sideline.

It took quarterback Tony Romo to calm down his star receiver. After practice, Bryant talked with Patmon and the two men hugged it out, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Both of them downplayed the incident afterward.

“Oh, man, it’s just brothers,” said Patmon, who is fighting for a roster spot during camp. “Brothers fight. That happens sometimes. We go at it. After that we squash it and it’s over.”

Bryant said: “He wasn’t going to back down, I wasn’t going to back down. And at the end of the day, we shook hands, we hugged and we respect one another.”
