What time is the NBA draft?
The 2016 NBA Draft will begin today at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN when the Philadelphia 76ers are tasked with making the first-overall selection.
Louisiana State forward Ben Simmons and Duke forward Brandon Ingram are likely to be the first two players drafted, with the Lakers expected to take whoever the 76ers leave on the board.
Unless they don’t.

Last year, the Lakers passed on Duke big man Jahlil Okafor in order to grabbed guard D’Angelo Russell out of Ohio State. Leading up to the draft, Okafor and Kentucky center Karl-Anthony Towns, who was selected with the first-overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves, were widely considered the top two picks of the 2015 draft class.

The Lakers also have the 32nd pick in the draft. The Clippers hold the 25th and 33rd overall picks.
Also of note, there are four teams with three picks in the first round: the 76ers (1, 24, 26), Boston Celtics (3, 16, 23), Phoenix Suns (4, 13, 28) and Denver Nuggets (7, 15, 19).
That leaves the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets without first-round choices.
