On his Facebook page, Kobe Bryant posted a picture of one of his last acts of the season -- going to the free-throw line with a torn Achilles’ tendon to help the Lakers get a victory over the Golden State Warriors.

“This will go down as one of my favorite moments captured on film,” writes Bryant. “The stats are insignificant. The drama lies in the fact that in my mind, I know my season is finished and you can see it written on my face.”

Bryant was injured in the final moments of the Lakers’ 118-116 victory over Golden State on April 12. He’ll be out an estimated six to nine months while recovering.

“This will be what I look at as I rehab to get back on top. This moment will be my motor,” Bryant wrote.

The Lakers play again on Wednesday night in San Antonio, hoping to tie their first-round playoff series against the Spurs at a game apiece.

The team hopes to have Bryant back in uniform by next season’s opener, although that may be an aggressive timeline for such a significant injury.
