The Lakers are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the NBA.

Prior to Tuesday night’s games, the Lakers were third overall at 40.2% from three-point range -- behind the Golden State Warriors (41.7%) and Portland Trail Blazers (41.5%).

The Charlotte Bobcats are the worst at just 29.5%.

Ryan Kelly technically leads the Lakers at 66.7% from long range, but the rookie forward has taken just three attempts in his seven minutes of play this year.

Steve Nash, limited to only made six appearances this season because of a back injury, has converted 38.5% of his three-point attempts.

Shawne Williams has also started to connect more regularly, climbing to 34.8%.

Nick Young is currently the Lakers’ leading scorer at 14.4 points a game, but his three-point stroke has been less consistent at 32.9%.

The long ball is a vital part of Coach Mike D’Antoni’s offense. The Lakers still need to improve inside the arc.
