Kobe Bryant is finally able to practice shooting.

On Saturday, the Lakers All-Star guard posted a photo of himself via Instagram, with the caption, “First day back on the court shooting! Bout Damn time!! #shoulderrecovery #20thseason #drinkbodyarmor #lakers.”

Bryant suffered a season-ending injury in January, tearing the rotator cuff in his right shoulder.

After undergoing surgery, Bryant was gradually able to get back into the gym, but wasn’t permitted to shoot a basketball for roughly seven months while recovering.

Bryant, 36, sat out most of the 2013-14 season because of a knee injury. He also missed the end of the 2012-13 season, and the playoffs, with a torn Achilles’ tendon.

Now in his 20th season, Bryant is in the final year of his contract and is owed $25 million.

While this is widely expected to be his final season, Bryant has yet to confirm his long-term intentions.
