Kobe Bryant third in NBA jersey sales; Lakers fourth in merchandise
In his 20th and final season, Kobe Bryant remains one of the most popular players in the NBA.
According to the NBA, Bryant’s jersey is the third highest seller on NBAStore.com.
Bryant is behind Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James. New York Knicks rookie forward Kristaps Porzingis is fourth.
Clippers guard Chris Paul is 14th on the list. The ranking was determined from sales from October to December.
Bryant was ranked sixth overall in the NBA’s last tally, released last June.
Other players in the top 10 include Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder), Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls), Russell Westbrook (Thunder), Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers), James Harden (Houston Rockets) and Jimmy Butler (Bulls).
As a team, the Lakers have the fourth most popular merchandise, behind the Warriors, Bulls and Cavaliers.
The Clippers are 10th, behind the Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Thunder, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics.
