‘Backstage: Lakers’ behind-the-scenes look at Kobe Bryant’s injury
On Wednesday at 5 p.m., Time Warner Cable SportsNet will air a behind-the-scenes look at the fateful night Kobe Bryant suffered a season-ending Achilles’ tear.
“Backstage: Lakers” captures a red-eyed Bryant talking about the injury on crutches in the locker room after the game.
The Lakers guard underwent surgery Saturday, sidelining him for at six to nine months.
The episode will also “share some secrets behind Dwight Howard’s recovery.”
TWC SportsNet has a preview available on their website.
The network will also air previous “Backstage: Lakers” episodes starting at 4 p.m., along with full coverage of the team’s final regular-season game Wednesday night, against the Houston Rockets.
