Lil Wayne ejected from Lakers vs. Heat game ... or was he?
Rapper Lil Wayne says he was kicked out of American Airlines Arena in Miami for cheering for the Lakers instead of the Heat.
“So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow!” he tweeted Sunday to his 10 million-plus followers.
If you can’t believe one of the biggest hip-hop stars on the planet, then who can you believe?
But a representative for the Heat told the organization’s side of the story to TMZ: “Lil Wayne was not ejected from the building. He chose to leave.”
If you can’t believe the defending NBA champions, then who can you believe?
Well, a Heat fan named Danny Vega, who claimed to have been sitting near Lil Wayne during Sunday’s game, had yet another version of what took place. He tweeted posts that have since been removed:
“Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game. Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun … Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture.”
And if you can’t believe some random dude in the stands, then who can you believe?
Good question.
