Josiah Johnson and Quinn Hawking go from UCLA benchwarmers to TV creators
Josiah Johnson played basketball at Montclair Prep and was a benchwarmer at UCLA. Quinn Hawking played basketball at Simi Valley and was a benchwarmer, too.
Now they’re the creators and writers of a new animated TV series on Comedy Central, “Legends of Chamberlain Heights” about three high school freshmen benchwarmers.
Johnson is the son of UCLA great Marques Johnson. Hawking is the son of former Simi Valley basketball Coach Bob Hawking. Together, they’ve got plenty of stories to tell.
