Dodgers claim right-handed pitcher Danny Reynolds from Angels
Reporting from NASHVILLE — The Dodgers have claimed right-hander Danny Reynolds from the Angels.
Reynolds, 24, posted a 4.57 earned-run average and saved 10 games this year for the Angels’ double-A affiliate in Arkansas.
Reynolds stands only 6 feet tall but throws in the mid-90s. He struck out an average of 10.8 batters per nine innings and walked an average of 5.8.
A sixth-round pick by the Angels in the 2009 draft, Reynolds was a double-A Texas League All-Star in 2014.
The Dodgers now have 37 players on their 40-man roster.
