Chris Paul and wife share photos, videos of experience in South Africa

Clippers' superstar point guard Chris Paul and his wife Jada are in South Africa, as Paul prepares to participate in what is being called the first-ever NBA game in Africa, set to take place Saturday at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg.

Paul and his wife landed on Tuesday, and he posted a video to his Twitter account saying, "We just made it to South Africa safe and sound. Excited for the week ahead. You guys stay tuned to see what we're going to do."

The couple went to the Apartheid Museum, and Jada posted a photo of her holidng up a piece of paper that read "non-whites" while Paul's read "whites."

Wrote Jada, via Instagram: "Separated. This was real life for some of the families of SA. The museum was amazing, eye-opening."

They visited another historical landmark. Wrote Jada, via instagram: "We also went to visit Nelson Mandela's home in Soweto, where he lived before and briefly after his imprisonment. It's now a museum full of amazing keepsakes and artifacts."

Paul posted a photo of himself along with this Mandela quote: "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

While in Soweto, they saw some children playing soccer. Jada posted a video of it, with this caption: "Kids playing in the street. Notice the baby with no shoes. Really puts things into perspective and will make you think twice before complaining about the things we don't have. #Soweto"

At lunch, they got a dose of South African culture. Wrote Jada: "Got to see these young men perform while we had lunch in #Soweto"

Clippers fans would be happy to know that there's tourist attraction Paul skipped. Jada posted a photo of a popular bungee jumping site, writing, "we did a drive by."
