A reputed gang member was arrested after leading police on a pursuit Saturday night that ended when he crashed into a parked car, causing his vehicle to roll over, police said.
Just before 9 p.m., a Glendale police officer spotted 32-year-old Daniel Lachnit, of Lancaster, near Allen Avenue and Lake Street, recognizing him as a man suspected of vandalism and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, said Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.

The officer stopped the driver but when she got out of her patrol car, Lachnit reportedly sped off.
He drove for about a block before losing control of his car and colliding into a parked car, William said.
First responders extricated him from his car and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was cleared for booking.
He was arrested on suspicion of recklessly evading a peace officer, driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest.
