Documented gang member suspected of selling heroin, meth out of Glendale home
Police caught a documented gang member selling heroin and methamphetamine last week out of his Glendale home, where he kept two guns, one of which was stolen, authorities said.
Undercover detectives set up surveillance at the man’s Glendale home, located on the 500 block of Myrtle Street, after receiving an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip about possible drug dealing, said Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.
Police saw numerous people, of all ages and ethnicities, going in and out of the single-family home. Some stayed for just 30 seconds.
Investigators later served a search warrant at the man’s home, where they found numerous ounces of heroin and methamphetamine, as well as the two firearms and paperwork noting who’s paid and who owes money.
Edward Testa, a documented gang member who turns 46 Tuesday, was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of selling drugs, and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, William said.
He was released after posting $35,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County jail records.
