Motorcyclist killed in Costa Mesa crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday morning in Costa Mesa, according to authorities.
Just before 8 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Sunflower Avenue and Susan Street, where a vehicle and a motorcycle had collided, police said.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Costa Mesa Fire Department.
Details of the crash weren’t immediately available. The Costa Mesa police Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.
Authorities were still working at the scene as of 10:45 a.m.
