Richard “Dick” Noonan was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 21, 1931. He passed away at his home in Corona del Mar, CA on May 19, 2011, at the age of 80.

Dick was reared by his mother in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin with his three brothers, Dorrance, Elmer and Robert. He attended Whitefish Bay High School and excelled in sports.

He went on to attend Pepperdine University, where he was a member of the golf team. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He then served his country in the Army, and shortly thereafter he began his career with Ford Motor Company in Newport Beach, CA.

Dick’s 35 year career with Ford Motor Company took him and his family from Newport Beach, CA; to Philadelphia, PA; to Birmingham, MI; to London, England; and finally back to Detroit where he retired in 1994.

He enjoyed his retirement splitting his time between Birmingham, MI and Rancho Mirage, CA until he and his wife decided to move back to where they met before they married in 1966 - Corona del Mar, CA.

Richard is survived by his wife, Karen; his three children, Sharon, Michael, and Roberta; and their families.
