UCI explores ‘green’ options at forum
With much of the country focused on “green technology” and “green solutions” these days, the public is getting an opportunity Friday to hear what some of a green future might look like thanks to UCI.
From 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Arnold & Mabel Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences & Engineering building, UCI and two other universities are introducing a daylong forum, “Green Development: A Search for Solutions.”
Reservations are recommended, but the event is free. To view a detailed agenda of the seminar, visit www.newkirkcenter.uci.edu. or call (949) 824-9336.
