Flooding caused by heavy rain closes southbound stretch of PCH in Huntington Beach
A southbound section of Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach is closed Thursday due to flooding caused by heavy rain, according to the California Department of Transportation.
The southbound lanes between Seapoint Street and Warner Avenue were closed at about 10 p.m. Wednesday and will remain unusable until further notice, Caltrans said.
The closure is in the same stretch where rain-related flooding closed the highway in both directions between about 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
