‘Queer Eye’s’ Bobby Berk visits Irvine to showcase his debut furniture collection
Bobby Berk from Netflix’s “Queer Eye” visited Mathis Brothers Furniture at Irvine’s The Market Place on Wednesday to promote his debut furniture collection, Bobby Berk for A.R.T. Furniture.
The collection, described as Midcentury styling with nods to Art Deco shapes and Parisian style, features dining room, living room and bedroom pieces.
In addition to Mathis Brothers, it can also be found in Fine Living Furniture in Buena Park, the Design Center in Orange, Ambiance Home in Irvine, Marc Pridmore Design in Costa Mesa, Sanctuary Home Furnishings in San Juan Capistrano and West Coast Living stores across the county.
Before Berk gained fame as the design guru on “Queer Eye,” he worked at Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware. He was the Creative Director for Portico Home + Spa, a New York-based company that provides upscale home products, before launching his own interior design practice in 2015.
