Teen wounded in drive-by shooting in Burbank
A teenager was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Burbank on Thursday afternoon, police said.
The shooting happened on the 200 block of West Verdugo Avenue at about 2:30 p.m., according to a statement released by police.
Officials say two men, described as Hispanic males, drove by in a black sedan yelling gang-related obscenities before opening fire on two people, striking an 18-year-old male.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by his friend. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
