Health officials confirm 2nd case of the coronavirus in Burbank
The number of positive cases of the coronavirus in Burbank has jumped to two people, according to a report released on Sunday by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
The city had its first reported case of the virus that causes COVID-19 on March 19.
No further information was available about the patients who tested positive for the coronavirus in Burbank.
The number of cases and deaths in Los Angeles County rose over the weekend. As of Sunday, there were 409 cases and five deaths.
Neighboring Glendale had six confirmed cases as of Sunday, up four since Friday.
A company that manages ground support employees at Hollywood Burbank Airport announced on Monday that an employee tested positive for the coronavirus and that they are recovering at home.
