What experience has prepared you to take over leadership of the world’s fifth-largest economy?
I have over seven years experience lobbying at the local level in order to create fair regulations for small cannabis businesses. I also have 18 years experience working on Wall Street as a stock broker. Both of these careers have prepared me with complex negotiation skills and the ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets.

Do you believe Joe Biden was lawfully elected president?
Yes

Should an ethnic studies course be required for high-school graduation?
Yes

Should government make any vaccine mandatory, including for polio and smallpox?

Under California law, low-income women are eligible for taxpayer-funded abortions. Do you support this?
Yes

Should the governor’s emergency powers be altered, and if so, how?
The governor has enough power, and needs what he has. The secret is choosing leaders who can be trusted with those powers.

If you had $25 billion to spend on homelessness, what would you do with it?
Californians are kind, compassionate people and I will represent that. I will expand mental health and drug addiction counseling availability, including legalizing psychedelics for medical purposes the same way our neighbors in Oregon have done.

As governor, would you direct the state to do more to help Immigration and Customs Enforcement?
I believe in helping people who are fleeing from difficult situations. People who need help and are trying to start a better life should not be punished.

What would you do to decrease the chance of destructive wildfires?
We must partner with the indigenous in solving this problem. Native Americans have used control burns and other tactics to manage the forests successfully for thousands of years.

What emergency steps would you take during a drought to allocate water usage among Californians?
I will create programs to incentivize rainwater harvesting and greywater management. Some programs will be designed to aid rural areas with limited infrastructure access, others will target dense urban areas to reduce water loss from evaporation.

Do you support California’s climate change initiatives. If no, what would you change?
California has done a great job reaching its lowered emissions target early, with greenhouse gas emissions continuing to drop. However, these mandates should be relaxed while enduring a pandemic in order to allow small businesses that are struggling to survive.
