Pusha T uses Drake blackface photo to promote diss track
The Pusha T-Drake beef has taken on a new face.
On Tuesday night, the Bronx-born rapper hit back at the Toronto artist in a diss track titled “The Story of Adidon,” which included mention of porn star Sophie Brussaux, who claims Drake fathered her child.
“Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother/ Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her,” Pusha T raps. “A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap/ We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts.”
“The Story of Adidon” also came with accompanying photo of Drake in blackface, taken by Canadian photographer David Leyes, who has the photo on his professional website as well.
“Please stop referring to this picture as ‘artwork,’” Pusha T tweeted. “I’m not an internet baby, I don’t edit images...this is a REAL picture...these are his truths, see for yourself.”
Drake, 31, was born to a black father and white Jewish mother, who divorced when he was 5.
The Daily News reached out to Leyes for a comment on the photoshoot, but he did not immediately respond Tuesday night.
Late Tuesday, Pusha T posted on Instagram that the social media site had removed the artwork from his account because “a third party reported that the content infringes or otherwise violates their rights.”
Instagram did not immediately return a request for comment.
Drake and Pusha T have been feuding musically since 2016, most recently ignited when the Bronx rapper called out his competition for allegedly using a ghostwriter on his songs.
A rep for Drake did not immediately return a request for comment.
