Abu Musab Zarqawi

Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki said the pictured insurgent leader Al Zarqawi was killed along with seven aides. They were in a house 30 miles northeast of Baghdad in the volatile province of Diyala The top U.S. general in Iraq says Al Zarqawi’s body has been identified by fingerprints and facial recognition.  (Defense Department / AP)
