How the James ‘Whitey’ Bulger jury ruled, charge by charge
After 35 days of testimony, jurors in the racketeering and murder trial for James “Whitey” Bulger deliberated for more than 32 hours over five days on the charges against the former mob boss.
The eight men and four women were asked to decide whether Bulger, 83, was guilty on 32 counts including racketeering, murder and money laundering. On Monday, they found him guilty of all but one of those 32 counts. He was convicted of 11 of 19 murders and two counts of racketeering plus six acts of extortion.
