Reader photo: Round and round
Capturing motion blur and light trails with long exposures is fun, but doing it in daylight, with no tripod, can be quite difficult. Nancy Dushkin wasn’t allowed to use her tripod at the carousel in Griffith Park for fear that a child might trip on it, so she braced the camera against a fence and shot hand-held.
The exposure was made at .6/second at f/18, on a Nikon D800 with a 17-35 f/2.8 lens.
