Reader Photo: One man’s heroes

After leaving a Whittier pub one evening in April, Sam Smotherman spotted a man dressed in a sports coat, hat and a Cheech and Chong T-shirt.

Smotherman asked the man if he could photograph him. The man said yes and told him that Cheech and Chong were his heroes, as he opened up his sport coat to show off his T-shirt of the duo.

Smotherman captured this moment on April 23, 2014, with his iPhone 4S.
