Reader photo: Hale House at the Heritage Square Museum
John Sequeira photographed the Hale House in Montecito Heights on Feb. 2. “Restored to its original glory, it demonstrates how quality can transcend changing times,” Sequeira said.
The house is one of eight historic structures at the Heritage Square Museum. It was built in 1887 and purchased by James G. Hale, the home’s namesake, in 1906. In 1970, it was moved from Highland Park to its current location.
