Stuntman suffers major injuries after being run over on set of TV series ‘Shooter’
A stuntman suffered major injuries Wednesday after he was run over by a car on the set of the new TV show “Shooter” at a Santa Clarita airport, fire officials said.
The accident occurred about 12:10 p.m. at Agua Dulce Airpark in the 33600 block of Agua Dulce Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, said fire Inspector Richard Licon, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The driver of the vehicle struck and ran over the stuntman, he said.

The unidentified stunt performer was airlifted to a hospital. His condition was not immediately known Thursday.
A shooting permit indicated there would be a gun battle, fight scene and shots of vehicles driving around the airport, the Associated Press reported.
TMZ reported that actor Tom Sizemore, who starred in “Saving Private Ryan,” was driving the vehicle and never saw the stuntman.
The actor’s representative declined to comment Thursday.
Based on the 2007 Mark Wahlberg film “Shooter, the USA Network show stars Sizemore, Omar Epps and Ryan Phillippe. It is set to air on July 19.
