O.C. massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting clients

An Orange County massage therapist was arrested Thursday on suspicion of using his practice to sexually assault three women.
Michael James Jackson, 52, was arrested at his home in Fullerton after a yearlong investigation, according to the Brea Police Department.

Jackson, who operated a massage therapy business called On the Spot Therapy, allegedly committed the assaults during appointments at the victim’s homes, Brea police said in a news release.

The investigation was sparked after a 38-year-old Brea resident reported that Jackson had inappropriately touched her during a message appointment in her home in October 2012, Brea police said.

During their investigation, police discovered two other possible victims who claimed Jackson had assaulted them, also under the guise of performing a massage in their homes, according to police.

One of the women, a 31-year-old from Huntington Beach, was allegedly assaulted in 2012. The other, a 48-year-old Newport Beach woman, said she was attacked in 2000.

A search of Jackson’s home in December 2012 allegedly uncovered images of child pornography, police said.

Jackson was being held in lieu of $1-million bail.
