Man found shot to death inside South L.A. laundromat, police say
Los Angeles police on Saturday morning were investigating an apparent homicide after a man was found dead inside a South Los Angeles laundromat with a gunshot wound to his head.
Police received a 911 call about 12:25 a.m. regarding a person inside the laundromat in the 7300 block of South Figueroa Street, Detective Eric Crosson of the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The unidentified victim, described as a man in his 50s, was declared dead at the scene, Crosson said.
Crosson said the man was an employee of the laundromat, and it appeared that robbery was the motive for the shooting.
