10 Freeway onramp closed after L.A. police chase
The Washington Boulevard onramp to the eastbound 10 Freeway was shut down Thursday night after gang officers chased a man with a gun.
The incident began around 8:20 p.m. when the gang officers spotted the suspect and began a foot pursuit, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Police swarmed the scene and set up a perimeter, blocking streets in the area.
Officer Norma Eisenman said officers were still at the scene late Thursday and that the ramp remained closed.
No other details were immediately available.
