Cessna crashes east of Palmdale; no injuries reported
A small plane carrying four passengers crashed Sunday near Brian Ranch Airport in the Antelope Valley, but there were no serious injuries reported, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. as the plane was flying into the airport in Llano, an unincorporated community, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
No one aboard the plane suffered serious injuries, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.
He said the plane struck a tree and caught fire. An investigation into the crash is underway.
