L.A. County clerk answers voter complaints about broken machines, filming at polling places
Dean Logan, the man who oversees elections in Los Angeles County, is listening to your complaints.
People have tweeted Logan, the county’s registrar-recorder and clerk, to tell him that they didn’t receive their mail-in ballots, or that their polling places didn’t open on time or were too chaotic. Others have complained of broken machines or that poll workers required voters to show identification.
Logan — on Twitter as @LACountyRRCC — has provided advice to some and told others he’d reported their problems. In some cases, he dispatched staff to check out what was happening on the ground. As of noon Tuesday, he had replied to more than 50 people.
Logan also answered some unusual inquiries.
