Letters to the Editor
E-mail comments to [email protected]. Or mail them to Los Angeles Times Magazine, 202 W. 1st St., Los Angeles, 90012. Or fax us at (213) 237-7386. All correspondence must include the letter writer’s city of residence for publication, plus a daytime phone number and address, which will not be published. Letters may be edited for length and clarity.
Guidelines for Submissions
The Los Angeles Times Magazine publishes all kinds of nonfiction stories: narratives, profiles, memoirs, essays and style pieces. The best approach submitting a story is to write a short query letter outlining the proposed piece, including a resume or description of the writer’s experience. E-mail that to [email protected]. You may also send query letters to Los Angeles Times Magazine, 202 W. 1st St., Los Angeles, 90012. We will make every attempt to respond. Manuscripts and photographs will be handled with care, but the magazine assumes no responsibility. Unsolicited material will not be returned unless accompanied by return postage and envelope.
