Sofia Vergara shows off engagement ‘bling-bling’ from Joe Manganiello

Sofia Vergara and fiancé Joe Manganiello hit the red carpet together at the SAG Awards on Sunday for the first time since news of their engagement broke last month.

The “Modern Family” bombshell and the “True Blood” hunk finally took things public and confirmed their engagement news. (Though, for many, seeing Vergara sport that planet-sized engagement ring in recent weeks has been confirmation enough.)

The 42-year-old actress, who squeezed into a red, curve-hugging Donna Karan Atelier gown, spoke openly about the proposal and the pending nuptials during her red carpet interviews.

“You know me, it’s all about the bling-bling, so he knew what I needed,” Vergara said with a laugh during an interview with “Access Hollywood,” talking about the sparkler the “Magic Mike” star had popped the question with.

“I opened it up and I checked it to see,” she joked, addressing the bauble’s massive size. “He’s so handsome that it would have been OK, you know? I would have said, ‘OK, yeah.’”

The Colombian hottie said they plan to wed later this year but are sorting out their busy work schedules: She’s tied up filming “Hot Pursuit” and he’s working on the sequel “Magic Mike XXL.”

“We’re trying to figure it out because … he’s shooting and promoting ‘Magic Mike’ this summer and I’m promoting my movie with Reese Witherspoon and so we’re kinda busy, but we’re trying to do it maybe [in the] fall,” she said. “Summer is going to be too crazy.”

“Hot Pursuit” is slated for May release, while “Magic Mike XXL” is due this July.

Television’s highest-paid actress again showed off the sparkler when she hit E!’s booth and let her phalanges prance through their mani-cam.

“This is the love hand,” Vergara exclaimed.

Vergara and Manganiello, 38, had been dating for about six months when he popped the question to his Hollywood crush while they were vacationing in Hawaii over Christmas.

The actor gave a shout-out to his boo on Twitter, as she posted pix of herself with him and her on-screen man, Ed O’Neill.

“Great time tonight at #SAGawards2015 con mi prometida Thanks to @Zegna for the tux,” Manganiello tweeted, sharing a pic of himself and fiancée.

After the show, the duo got snuggly at the People and EIF Screen Actors Guild Awards gala, where Manganiello took that remarkable photo, above, giving an unassuming O’Neill the stink-eye.
