Follow along as we watch all the ‘Star Wars’ films, straight into the ‘Force Awakens’
Intrepid Los Angeles Times reporter Randy Lewis is watching every single “Star Wars” movie leading into the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” And you can follow along as he slowly goes mad.
Stationed at a California AMC, Lewis will be braving many hours of Hayden Christensen’s tiny padawan braid in order to bring you the FULL “Star Wars” binge-watching experience.
And you can follow along with the hashtag #randyawakens or on his personal Twitter account at @RandyLewis2.
Here’s the full screening schedule, starting Thursday:
- 1 a.m.: “The Phantom Menace”
- 3:30 a.m.: “Attack of the Clones”
- 6:15 a.m.: “Revenge of the Sith”
- 10:15 a.m.: “New Hope”
- 12:45 p.m.: “The Empire Strikes Back”
- 3:15 p.m.: “Return of the Jedi”
- 7 p.m.: “The Force Awakens”
Should you choose to marathon-watch with us, feel free to weigh in on #randyawakens or let us know how you feel about sand (“It’s course and rough and gets everywhere”).
For those of you unaware, Lewis was at the 1977 “Star Wars” screening, and still has the program to prove it. Best of luck to you, Randy!
