Laurel Canyon bachelor pad gets a fun, funky update

Interior designer Erinn Valencich designed this Laurel Canyon home for a young bachelor who likes to entertain. Valencich softened the modern home’s clean lines, cork flooring and glass windows with graphic textiles and rugs, textured wall coverings and whimsical accessories from Jonathan Adler. “He is always entertaining and likes to throw parties,” she said. “He wanted something with a midcentury funky vibe.” Look for Valencich when she appears on the new Nate Berkus design show “American Dream Builders,” premiering March 23 on NBC.
