Hot Property: TV and film director John Rich lists Trousdale Estates home at $11.9 million
Television and film director John Rich has listed his longtime home in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills for $11.9 million.
Rich worked on such iconic ‘60s shows as “All in the Family,” “Bonanza” and “Gilligan’s Island.” This is the first time the completely renovated two-story house has been on the market in more than 44 years. It features a glass-paneled stairway and a glass elevator that leads to a gallery and a post-and-beam living room with vaulted ceilings and a stacked stone fireplace. The 7,513-square-foot home has a media-game room with full bar, four bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
The grounds of more than three-quarters of an acre include a solar-heated swimming pool, an outdoor fireplace, a barbecue area and a two-tier fountain.
Jim Muske with Coldwell Banker Previews International, Beverly Hills East, is the listing agent.
