Try This: Parkour top-out move
Parkour is a form of fitness that’s made up of many skills, all of which combine to enable the practitioner to seem to fly through the air the way Michael “Frosti” Zernow can. Here he demonstrates the wall climb or top-out move.
What it does
It’s an essential parkour training move — it’s how you get yourself from hanging onto a wall to all the way to the top of it. Though it may look like just an upper body workout, you’ll need to use your core. And the more you engage your legs, the easier it’ll be.
How to do it
Find a high wall, and reach for the top of it with both arms. Once you’ve got a grip, place one foot on the side of the wall and haul yourself up. This move requires a lot of strength, but the more you practice and the more technique you develop, the easier it’ll get.
How much
To start with, aim for three top-outs in a row without touching the ground with your feet. As you get more confident, see how many you can do in a 30-second block.
