Spice Table’s new menu: Chef Bryant Ng of the Spice introduces a new menu, mixing favorites from the downtown restaurants original menu with both traditional and innovative Singaporean and Vietnamese dishes. Some new offerings: Singaporean “carrot cake”; grilled beef salad; dried pho with marrow broth; duck rice; grilled country pork chops; fried dough with beef and potato curry; and Third Floor Bee Hoon, a dish with vermicelli noodles, shrimp, eggs and char siu. Ng, a Campanile alum, says he’s adapted the shut restaurant’s flattened chicken dish as an homage. 114 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 620-1840, www.thespicetable.com.
