Super Bowl 2014: How to create an entire stadium of food and the perfect game-day cocktail

Need an idea that will really wow your guests at this Sunday’s Super Bowl party? How about an entire football stadium made of your favorite snacks?

In the video above, Test Kitchen Director Noelle Carter walks you through how to make a stadium of snacks for the big game. She’s got everything from hot wings and hot dogs to homemade queso, chips and an entire section of desserts.

And what’s a party without the right cocktail? Deputy Food editor and cocktail maven Betty Hallock mixes up a cocktail she calls the “Peyton Manning” with tequila and a six-pack of beer. We’re thinking she’s a Denver fan with this one. Check out the full recipe below.

Time: 10 minutes | Serves: 10

Ingredients:

Rim salt mixture:

1/4 cup salt

1/4 cup celery salt

1/4 cup sugar

Cocktail:

3/4 cup blanco tequila

1/3 cup Cointreau

3/4 cup lime juice

3/4 cup orange juice

6 pack of hefeweizen

Note: Make sure all of the ingredients are chilled

Directions:

To rim the glasses, mix the sugar, salt and celery salt together on a small plate. Wet the glass rims with some water then dip the glasses into the salt mixture. Set aside.

Pour the tequila, Cointreau, lime and orange juices into a large pitcher and stir. Add the beer, pouring slowly. Stir the mixture and pour into rimmed glasses.
