Jack in the Box bacon-inside burger with bacon mayo launching with Super Bowl ad
Jack in the Box is launching a new Bacon Insider burger with an ad during the Super Bowl on Sunday. The ad, seen above, introduces viewers to the Jack in the Box farm with a singing Jack, a curly fry tree, a barn full of buns and a new burger with bacon on the inside.
The Bacon Insider ($4.99) comes with a patty made of beef and pieces of bacon, slices of hickory smoked bacon both on top and beneath the patty, lettuce, tomato, American cheese and bacon mayo sauce on one of the fast food chain’s new brioche buns.
There’s also a Bacon Insider mascot called a “Bork” for what Jack in the Box says is the first beef and bacon patty from a national fast food chain. (San Diego-based Slater’s 50/50 restaurants feature a signature patty with 50% beef and 50% bacon.) If you’re wondering what a “Bork” is, it’s a pig with cow-like horns.
The bacon-filled burger hit Jack in the Box locations nationwide on Thursday and will be available for a limited time.
