Facebook-flavored ice cream exists: What does time-wasting narcissism taste like?
The most popular ice cream flavors are named after foods you can actually eat. Strawberry, chocolate, mint chip (even though it tastes like tooth paste) and chocolate chip are favorites. But what about an ice cream flavor meant to taste like Facebook?
Turns out, Facebook is an actual flavor of ice cream at a shop called Valentino-tisno on Murter island in Croatia, reports Mashable.
The flavor is the result of owner Admir Adils’ 15-year-old daughter’s obsession with the social network.
Adil and his brother Ibi used regular vanilla ice cream and topped it with blue syrup to make the new flavor. Apparently the only thing that makes it a Facebook ice cream is the fact that there’s a sign with the Facebook logo sticking out of the blue-and-white dessert.
The Adil borthers have not asked Mark Zuckerberg permission for trademark use, reported PSFK.
According to PSFK, the ice cream tastes like sugar and chewing gum. If it were a real social network ice cream, it would probably taste like narcissism, a waste of time and a little self indulgence mixed in.
